The head of the CRISTAL project is M. Jean-Michel Gomit in charge of :

• to set up the directives of the Control committee ;
• to ensure the technical coordination of the project ;
• to ensure the connections between the project management committee (PMC criticality) and the control comittee;
• to follow the application of quality management plan of the project ;
• to manage the quality file ;
• to inform the Control committee of the work progress ;
• to check or prepare key documents of the project ;
• to manage the File of Business (documentation of the project);
• to be the main contact for customers for the deliveries and the treatments of the anomalies ;
• to build in the experience feedback of the Group of the Users within the control of work.

The Control committee is composed by representatives of CEA, COGEMA, EDF, Framatome ANP and IRSN

Its roles are :

• to establish the main trends of the project and to carry out the strategic choices;
• to coordonate and assess the technical decisions taken by the different partners within the R&D agreements.
• to name a leader for each working groups.

Coordination Group is composed by the head of project and the correspondents of Departments (SEC, SERMA, SPRC) in charge of the developement, the validation and the qualification. This group constitutes the project managership. Its role is:

• to follow the technical progress of the project according to the means and the planning of the Departments.
• to prepare the meetings of contro committee.

Working groups

• WG "calculations schemes and procedures" : this group's main mission is to ensure the technical scanning for calculation schemes and related processes. This group is made of the head of project and representatives of Departments (SEC, SERMA, SPRC).
  
• WG "Qualification" : composed by  the head of project and representatives of Departments (SEC, SERMA, SPRC). Its roles are :
  • to synthesize CRISTAL V1 qualification and update the report,
  • to be able to show the qualification file.
     
• WG "Burn-Up Credit" : This group, made of IRSN representatives, CEA, COGEMA, SGN, COGEMA Logistics, of EDF and FRAMATOME, is in charge to define a method taking into account the burnup rate in the criticality studies. This method helps to consider the profile of irradiation and absorption of certain fission products.
   

The Group of the Users offers a meeting point between the developers and the users, allows the experience feedback and gives an opinion on the user's needs. This group, gathers the users' correspondents of any organisation or unit using CRISTAL.

Representatives in charge of "training" aspects each Department  SEC, SERMA and SPRC, names a representative in charge of any problem concerning training aspects, dealing with the other representative to organize training sessions according to the needs in each Department. In each Department the training contributors will be clearly identified.
